Responsibilities
Summary
The Unit Clerk performs as the coordinator of communication for the unit and assumes primary responsibility for medical record management. Greets visitors and ensure meeting of needs or referred to appropriate resources. Facilitates patient data management through transcription, order entry, and documentation. Support best use of resources in management of equipment, supplies, and other department resources.

Location
This position is located in Chula Vista, San Diego County
Hours
Per Diem, variable shifts and hours, work every other weekend
Required Skills and Qualifications

Unit clerk/secretary preferred

One year experience as Unit clerk/secretary in an acute care setting preferred

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
