The Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) will perform phlebotomy in a safe and quality manner; data entry; support the Sharp Experience to provide excellent customer service. The CPT will partner with physician and nursing staff in providing optimum patient care. They may perform specimen processing and real-time inventory with the ability to evaluate supply inventory to prevent shortages, overstocking and expired supplies. The CPT will work in a team environment and also be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

This position is located in Coronado, San Diego County
8-hour variable shift; including every other weekend
This is a Per Diem position
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician - CPT I or CPT II
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association
- Excellent direct customer service, communication and critical thinking skills
- Computer skills, data entry proficiency
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months recent Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) experience
- Specimen handling and transporting experience
