Under supervision, the Health Care Partner supports patient care activities, management of equipment and supplies, clerical responsibilities and related duties. This position is for a busy Surgical Procedure Area (SPA) and Endoscopy unit. The Health Care Partner must have the ability to multi-task, providing patient care in preparing patients for surgery, treatments such as preps and EKGs, computer skills. This SPA prepares patients for surgery, endoscopy, infusions and pain service.
The SPA and Endoscopy units are key to the collaborative teamwork that allows SCOR peri-operative services to achieve high quality outcomes with excellent patient, physician and staff satisfaction.
The SPA, Pre-Anesthesia Services (PAES) and Endoscopy Services work together to prepare the surgical inpatient and outpatient cases. These departments also support the outpatient services with IV infusion and pain services.

This position is located in Coronado, San Diego County
8-hour shift, Per Diem, variable shift, working weekend as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the AHA
- One year experience as an Acute Care Nursing Assistant
- One year Unit Secretary experience
Preferred Skills and Qualification
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
