Provide support to the Surgical Service Department by coordinating and accomplishing all activities, functions, and responsibilities related, and not limited to, the general cleaning and maintenance of the O.R. and PACU in accordance with the established methods and techniques.

The Operating room specializes in various services to include orthopedic joint replacements, OR skills to include circulating duties, assisting in the care of surgical patients.

Sharp Coronado Hospital is a Planetree Hospital, which is a Patient Focused Model of Care.  The Ambulatory Care Center, Pre-Anesthesia Services (PAES) and Endoscopy Services work together to prepare the surgical inpatients.  These departments also support the outpatient services with IV infusion and pain services.

From emergency services to a nationally recognized total joint replacement program, Sharp Coronado Hospital is a 204 bed facility that has a long tradition of providing top-quality, comprehensive health care.

This position is located in Coronado, San Diego County

Full Time - Variable shift
Weekends as needed
On call requirement
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Recent one year janitorial experience or six months janitorial experience in a hospital or acute care facility.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent
