Required Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s degree or above in related field
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- Three years recent employment experience in an Outpatient Mental Health setting

- MFT/LCSW License
Under direction of the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Supervisor, the Marriage and Family Therapist is responsible for assessing and evaluating the psychosocial needs of the patient and family to determine treatment goals and interventions. Facilitates group, as well as individual and family, therapy for adolescents struggling with emotional, behavioral, and substance issues. Conducts thorough psychosocial assessments to identify appropriate treatment goals, and assists in the coordination of treatment and aftercare planning in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team. Must have a strong ability to develop positive working relationships with physicians, treatment team and other departments, to manage significant electronic documentation, and be responsive to the needs of the patients served.
