This Cardiovascular Anesthesia Tech position provides support to the surgical patient and Operating Room (OR) team by performing activities involving anesthesia-cardio care, developing and implementing plan of care interventions appropriately modified to meet population specific needs of the patient under the supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider or Registered Nurse.
The Cardiovascular Anesthesia Tech also assists the Anesthesiologist with airway management, intubation, physiologic monitoring, including insertion of lines, insertion of regional blocks, runs cell salvage equipment, assist with use of intra aortic balloon pump, and other heart support devices.

Full Time position - 10 hour - Variable shift

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Five years Anesthesia Tech experience in a multispecialty acute care hospital
- Graduate of an ASATT program with two years tech experience in a multispecialty inpatient can be substituted; or graduate of an AS program in cardiopulmonary with two years’ experience can be substituted
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Current ACLS certification for Healthcare Providers
