This position provides support to the Operating Room by coordinating and accomplishing all activities, functions and responsibilities related, but not limited to, the anesthesia department under the direction and/or supervision of a registered nurse and/or a physician.
Responsibilities include: assisting the licensed anesthesia provider in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia (including medication and medication administration devices), equipment maintenance (including cleaning and sterilization), calibration and testing, and maintenance of records. This position will also assist with other patient care and department activities to contribute to smooth and efficient processes in surgical care.
The Surgery Service at Sharp Grossmont Hospital has 12-OR suites and performs all inpatient surgical specialties including Open Heart and Robotic Surgery.  Its Total Joint Replacement program is nationally recognized.   Join our highly skilled and efficient team with the challenge of a fast paced surgical department.

This position is located in La Mesa, San Diego County
Full Time - 8 hour - Variable
Weekend shifts as needed
On call requirement
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Two years’ experience in a hospital setting
  • Cer.A.T or Cer.A.T.T from American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technician (ASATT)
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
  • High school diploma or equivalent
