This position is located in La Mesa, San Diego County
8 hour shifts: Variable start times - 4:00 am, 5:00 am or 10:00 am; weekends as needed.
This is a Part-Time (.5) Position: 40 hours per 2 week pay period
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- Six months recent Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) experience
- Computer data entry skills
- Must have good communication skills
The Certified Phlebotomy Technician will perform phlebotomy in a safe and quality manner; data and specimen processing; support the Sharp Experience and give excellent customer service.
Sharp Grossmont Laboratory is a large state-of-the-art clinical laboratory that supports a 536 bed hospital with Oncology, Women’s Services, Behavioral Health and the busiest emergency department in San Diego. - Bed mobilization (scooting/rolling)
- Lift up to 25 pounds
- Push/Pull up to 50 pounds
- Carry up to 25 pounds
