This position is located in La Mesa, San Diego County.

Full-Time; 8 hour variable shift, with weekend and weekday call requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current unencumbered California Registered Nurse licensure
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Two to five years' of recent Main OR Heart and Vascular surgery experience required in an acute setting
- Recent Open Heart OR experience
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience
- Cardiac scrub experience
- Current ACLS certification
This Heart and Vascular Clinical Lead position is the clinical expert for cardiac and vascular specialty services and will be responsible for the coordination of those specialties, including mentoring and education. This position will be instrumental in the planning, coordination, and development of the new Heart and Vascular Center. Join the highly skilled and efficient team with the challenge of a fast paced surgical department that performs 650 surgeries/month.
The Surgery Department at Sharp Grossmont Hospital has 12-OR suites and performs all inpatient surgical specialties including Open Heart and DaVinci Robotic Surgery. This position is an opportunity for an RN to join the Clinical Lead team in the OR. Additionally, Sharp will be opening a new state-of-the-art Heart and Vascular center in 2018 to include 4 new ORs (1 general, 1 endovascular, and 2 hybrid) and 4 new cath labs.
