Collaborates with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) in the delivery of quality patient/resident care under the direction of a licensed nurse. Delivers care with consideration to age specific needs/care. Contributes to overall unit functions.
3-East is a 36-bed unit that is specializing in Gastrointestinal and urinary patient population. We promote optimal patient care in a collaborative environment and provide an intermediate level of quality nursing care for a diverse patient population that includes ECG monitoring and assessment. This position is located in La Mesa, San Diego County at Sharp Grossmont Hospital, Telemetry 3E
12-hour shift: 7pm - 7:30 am, with every other weekend.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Ability to perform all baseline resident / patient care skills under guidance of Licensed Nurse.
BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Previous Telemetry experience strongly preferred.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Fluent knowledge (written and spoken) of English.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- One year recent Acute Care Nursing Assistant experience
- Comparable to certified nursing assistant course.
