8 hour shifts; per diem position to work variable shifts; weekends as needed; call is required
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of AMA approved school Radiology or equivalent
- Current CRT licensure
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Must have completed a minimum of one clinical rotation at Sharp Grossmont Hospital's Imaging Department within last 12 months; must obtain CA Fluoroscopy License within six months of hire date
- Current ARRT certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
The per diem Radiologic Technologist produces high quality exams in compliance with department policy, procedures and guidelines. Demonstrates commitment to providing safe, efficient, and quality care. Provides pre and post procedure education to patient and family. Verifies physician orders and utilizes RIS correctly to complete all paperwork. Adheres to all Sharp Healthcare practices and policies. Complies with all regulatory requirements including licensing, certification, and other mandatory training within established timeframes.

This dynamic and versatile imaging department includes radiology, CT and MRI scanning, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, ultrasound and CT/PET imaging.
