The Surgical Technologist will use their expertise in asepsis and equipment to prepare the operating room. They will work to help ensure that the operating room is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety while maintaining the integrity of the sterile field.
The Surgery service at Sharp Grossmont Hospital has 12-OR suites and performs all inpatient surgical specialties including Open Heart and DaVinci Robotic Surgery. Required Skills and Qualifications
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
One year scrubbing experience in an acute care setting
One year experience scrubbing for OBGYN cases
Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
