The Ultrasound technologist will scan emergent cases in a dynamic patient care environment to include Emergency Room and urgent Inpatients as well as Interventional cases. Daily exams would include OB, invasive and general work. Applicants must be competent in scanning complete abdominal exams, pelvic, endo-vaginal, scrotum, small parts and assisting radiologist with interventional procedures. The Ultrasound Technologist will work independently and make timely decisions and focus on performance and results.

This position is located at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, CA, San Diego County
8 hour shifts; Part-time (.8) position to work Variable Shifts; every other weekend; call is required; Position to work primarily PM Shifts; must availability to work other shifts as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of a formal training program in an AMA approved school and meeting requirements of an appropriate state and/or federal mandated certification
- Current RDMS by the ARDMS certification
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association
- Strong organizational skills
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
- Skill to work in a team oriented environment
- Must have strong customer service skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- One year recent diagnostic Ultrasound experience
