$45.812 - $59.112 - $72.412The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
The 3-D Imaging Specialist (IS) position will support physicians, technologists and other medical staff with image post-processing needs. The 3D IS will perform advanced level image post-processing functions for examinations such as CT, MRI, NM and others, including but not limited to, CT coronary, transaortic valve replacement, and other cardiac studies; CT angiography abdominal/peripheral; pre-operative planning imaging and measurements; pre-procedural planning (organ volume measurements and others); neurovascular/stroke; and Cardiac MRI; and other imaging 3D processing as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of formal training program in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements of an appropriate State and/or Federal mandated certification or equivalent.
- 2 Years technologist experience.
- 1 Year experience with 3D imaging.
- Certified Computed Tomography (CT)(ARRT) - ARRT -REQUIRED
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - CA Department of Public Health -REQUIRED
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
- Imaging 3D post processing with Vitrea, TeraRecon, Syngo.via, or equivalent - REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
Essential Functions
- Produce Quality Images
Process medical images (such as CT, MRI, and NM images) on a highly specialized 3D workstation and reconstruction software into multiple planes and dimensions for clinical visualization and qualitative analysis of diagnostic and interventional studies, and calculations of volumes.
Troubleshoots software and manages updates as needed.
Manages and prepares transfer of image data to and from applications in an accurate and timely manner and a quality control functions to ensure timely reporting. - Clinical Professional
Provides technical expertise for development of 3D imaging protocols.
Communicates and trains others on protocols.
Attends training on application and software as needed.
Maintains knowledge on 3D Imaging and related technologies. - Internal and External Customer Service
Collaborates and supports clinicians, radiologists, and technologists systemwide with image post-processing needs.
Responds to requests in a timely manner. - Other
Perform other duties as assigned and required.
Is a team player and assists the department and teammates as needed.
