Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Nursing School/Program
  • Current unencumbered California Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current AHA BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Three to five years of recent clinical nursing experience
  • Experience in Women's and Newborn
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills and crisis management skills
  • Demonstrates complex problem solving and the use of critical thinking
  • Complies with all regulatory and accreditation standards
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing
  • ACLS certification
  • Two to three years leadership experience
  • Previous House Supervisor experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Location
This position is located in Serra Mesa, CA (San Diego County)
(This position will support Sharp Mary Birch Hospital)
 
Hours
Part-time (0.5 FTE); 12-hour shift variable hours including every other weekend.
 
 
Summary
This Administrative Liaison RN position will provide effective management of operations for Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Newborns and administration during regular and non-regular business hours.
 
The Administrative Support Department serves Sharp Memorial Hospital, Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Newborns and the Outpatient Pavilion (OPP). The Administrative Support department screens daily staffing, schedules beds for admissions and provides customer service/coaching to patients, staff, physicians and visitors. Administrative Liaison RNs assist with facilitation of operations on each shift as needed. The Administrative Liaison RNs maintain a close interaction with all department staff, leads and managers, physicians, case management, and administration.
