Responsibilities

Summary

The Administrative Secretary performs administrative and secretarial assignments under minimal supervision. Prioritizes mail (including electronic mail), checks deadlines and independently initiates responses/action items or refersappropriately.Prepares and processes outgoing mail within designated timeframe.Develops and maintains databases and uses computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio).Information and records are kept confidential per guidelines.Completes department specific forms/records/data management (e.g., personnel records, timecards).Supports department director in organization of in-patient unit and workflow.

Location

This position is located in Serra Mesa, San Diego County.

 

Hours

Full time day shift: 8:00am to 5:30pm 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

 

This position is Temporary position, to be determined on length of assignment

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Requires 2-3 years experience and advanced computer skills

  • Composes correspondence, memos, presentations, spreadsheets and other documents as requested

  • Compiles data from various sources for routine reports, calculates statistics and prepares spreadsheets

  • Proficient in the use of computer applications to complete documents/work assignments

  • Reviews and edits materials as requested
