Under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Therapist, the Home Health Aide assists in performing personal care needs and light housekeeping. The Home Health Aide manages time, prioritizes work assignment, completes and submits required paperwork including daily notes, route sheets and mileage reports according to departmental time frames. The Home Health Aide documentation reflects care given as indicated on the Plan of Care. The Home Health Aide will attend a minimum of 12 hours in-service training per year. The Home Health Aide will exhibit courtesy, cooperation and respect toward patients, visits, physicians, and fellow workers to create a positive public image and a harmonic work environment.

This position is located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego County. The Certified Home Health Aide - CHHA will be visiting patients throughout San Diego County.
8 hour shift, Full-time, 8:00am - 4:30pm, working weekends as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Current Nursing Assistant certification
- Current California Home Health Aide Certification
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Health Association
- Minimum of one year recent Acute Care or Home Health experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and techniques
- Competence to execute Home Health Aide Skills safely
