The Clerical Assistant II will provide clerical support to the department including customer service, data entry, answering phones, filing and copying, organizing and maintaining files.
Sharp HealthCare's Staffing Resource Network (SRN) is a pool of dedicated professionals that provide staffing coverage throughout Sharp HealthCare.
Sharp System Services have campuses located in the communities of Kearny Mesa and Serra Mesa and consist of the Spectrum location, the Ruffin Road location and Sharp Operations Center (SOC). These offices provide the centralized integrated system support services to the operating entities within the system. These services include: Strategic Planning, Business Development, Information Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management and Insurance, Contracts, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Development, Clinical Effectiveness, Finance, Nursing, Systems Supply Chain Services, Marketing and Communications, The Sharp Experience and Sharp University.
This position is located in Kearny Mesa, must be flexible to float within the Sharp HealthCare system in San Diego County.
Per diem: 8-hours variable shifts and times; includes weekends as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- One year experience in clerical capacity.
- Ability to file materials in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ability to operate photocopy machine and typewriter.
- Ability to communicate clearly, politely, accurately and tactfully both verbally and in writing.
- Requires a typing speed of 40 WPM and grammar, spelling and punctuation skills.
- Possesses simple mathematical skills.
- High school diploma/equivalent required.
