The Clerical Assistant III performs clerical tasks of average complexity according to standard procedures. Duties includes release of information via fax and in person, scanning documents, prepping documents, assisting with phones and physicians, retrieving charts from floors, correcting reports and other duties as assigned.
Rees-Stealy Radiology Float Pool allows employees to work in various
clinics throughout our SRS system.
The Sharp Rees-Stealy Radiology
Department provides digital radiology services at several Sharp Rees-Stealy
locations. Staff members are highly trained and certified to meet all of the
patient's health care needs. Services offered include: diagnostic radiology,
mammography and stereotactic biopsies, ultrasound, CT, MRI, DEXA (bone
density), nuclear medicine and imaging-guided biopsy procedures. Radiology
services are provided at 12 Sharp Rees-Stealy sites: Chula Vista, Downtown, El
Cajon, Genesee, La Mesa, Mira Mesa, Otay Ranch, Point Loma, Rancho Bernardo,
San Diego, Scripps Ranch and Sorrento Mesa.
With 450 primary and specialty care
physicians providing care at 21 facilities throughout the region, Sharp
Rees-Stealy Medical Group is one of the largest, most comprehensive medical

satisfaction and clinical care. For patient convenience and improved
coordination of care, Sharp Rees-Stealy offers services like laboratory,
radiology, physical therapy and urgent care within each clinic or nearby. Sharp

buildings. One located in Downtown San Diego and the other in Sorrento
Mesa. Both will provide their communities with leading edge care for

This position is located in San Diego and required to float throughout the Sharp Rees Stealy clinics
Per Diem, variable hours, weekends as needed
Hours will be for evenings during the week and weekends days and evenings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to give close attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective interpersonal and patient contact skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Clerical Radiology experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
