The Clerical Assistant III will provide administrative support to ensure the Department's success. This position works closely with patients, physicians, clinical staff, and support personnel throughout Sharp HealthCare. Key responsibilities may include reception, scheduling, phone management, and medical record coordination. The Sharp Rees-Stealy Radiology Float Pool allows employees to work in various clinics throughout our SRS system
The Sharp Rees-Stealy Radiology Department provides digital radiology services at several Sharp Rees-Stealy locations. Staff members are highly trained and certified to meet all of the patient's health care needs. Services offered include: diagnostic radiology, mammography and stereotactic biopsies, ultrasound, CT, MRI, DEXA (bone density), nuclear medicine and imaging-guided biopsy procedures. Radiology services are provided at 12 Sharp Rees-Stealy sites: Chula Vista, Downtown, El Cajon, Genesee, La Mesa, Mira Mesa, Otay Ranch, Point Loma, Rancho Bernardo, San Diego, Scripps Ranch and Sorrento Mesa.

This position is located in San Diego and required to float throughout the Sharp Rees Stealy clinics
Per Diem, variable hours and shifts, weekends as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
Medical Terminology, Computer Skills, and Strong Customer Service Skills
Ability to file material in an accurate and timely manner
Ability to communicate clearly, politely, accurately and tactfully; both orally and in writing
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years in an imaging setting preferred
