Summary
The Clinical Nurse is recognized as a leader of bedside nursing care who provides high quality care to improve outcomes for patients and their families by promoting clinical excellence and improving patients' quality of life. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supports a collaborative practice culture with emphasis on safety, patient-centered care, communication, accountability, shared decision making, nursing education, and evidence-based practice while recognizing the value and meaning of nursing’s contribution within an interdisciplinary model.
The Surgical Department has just moved into its brand new state of the art facility. The multi-specialty surgical services is comprised of 18 OR suites. Some of the nationally recognized programs are in Bariatric, Robotic, Open Heart and Transplant. This position is for a Clinical Nurse.

Hours
Full Time - Evening Shift - 12 hour shift
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Associates of Science Degree in Nursing
- Current unencumbered CA Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent RN surgery experience – any service line.
