What You Will Do
The Lead Contingent Worker Coordinator-SRN will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Contingent Workforce program across Sharp Healthcare. This includes day-to-day responsibility for the managed service provider (MSP) delivery model and relationships for the system, and serve as the escalation point for our internal stakeholders. This role requires knowledge of the contingent worker landscape and regulatory environment, as well as experience to get things done across partners, our vendors, and the user audience within a collaborative and dynamic structure. The Lead Contingent Worker Coordinator-SRN will report directly to the Staffing Resource Network Supervisor, collaborate closely with peers in SRN, Sharp departments, and partner closely with our MSP partner. The Ld Contingent Worker Coordinator-SRN will drive the daily management, execution, and maintenance of the program. Critical factors in this position's success will be strong oral and written communication, executive presence, and good judgment.

Required Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3 Years Staffing coordination experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Nursing experience.
  • Staffing coordination experience with out of state workers.
  • Human Resource experience.
  • California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -PREFERRED

Essential Functions

  • Contract Management
    Oversee outside vendors including compliance with national standards.
    Follows up with managers regarding contracts nearing expiration, oversees contract extensions for existing resources, redeploys contractors based on business requirements and contractor performance.
    Create, maintain, and analyze timely analytics/metrics for reporting on Contingent Workforce staffing initiatives on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
    Create and maintain any additional ad hoc analytic requests.
  • Leadership
    Provides on-going training and supervision of SRN Representative. Communicates pertinent issues and/or system changes to SRN Representative and Contingent Workers utilizing SBAR.
    Provides input and participates in hiring, performance reviews, coaching and counseling, and corrective actions.
    Is a resource to SRN and the Contingent Workers.
    Identify, track, and manage issues, risks, and action items across individuals and teams, while demonstrating consistent follow through.
    Plans, allocates, and monitors resources assigned to support project work.
    Assists in managing timecard/invoicing process.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    Develop strong relationships with cross functional stakeholders and across business entities both in person and remote environments.
    Demonstrated ability to work well with other departments and varying levels of management, both internally and externally.
    Works with others to forecast contractor needs; works with vendors to source contractors.
    Facilitates gathering feedback from managers on contractor performance and providing feedback back to third party agencies. Functions as the main point of contact regarding contractor performance, works with managers and vendors regarding contractor issues.
    Interacts and builds relationships with third party vendors as necessary.
    Cooperates and maintains good rapport with staff, medical staff, other departments, and visitors.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver results in a very fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Must have strong oral and written communication, executive presence, and good judgment.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and have knowledge of EMR applications.
  • Must have good conflict resolution skills, be professional, objective and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to problem solve complex situations.
  • Independent judgment, decision making, self direction and ability to set and achieve priorities.
  • Skills in monitoring/assessing the performance of self, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.
