The CT Technologist will be responsible for all routine and invasive CT procedures in an outpatient clinic setting. Will effectively make timely decisions and focus on performance and results.  Demonstrates commitment to providing safe, efficient quality care.  Provides pre and post procedure education to patient and family.  Verifies physician orders and utilizes RIS correctly to complete all paperwork. Adheres to all Sharp Healthcare practices and policies.  Follows Sharp Behavior Standards and AIDET.  Complies with all regulatory requirements including licensing, certification, and other mandatory training within established timeframes.

The Radiology Department at the Sharp Rees-Stealy Clinics offers radiology services at 14 convenient locations throughout San Diego County.  Our services are provided with state of the art digital and CR imaging equipment sent and stored in PACS.  We offer services for General, Fluoroscopy, Dexa, Mammography, Ultrasonography, CT and MRI imaging needs.  Our Radiology staff are highly trained and certified to meet the needs of San Diego Community. We work in a collaborative team environment, which continues to grow and strive to give you the best care possible.

For patient convenience and improved coordination of care, Sharp Rees-Stealy offers services like laboratory, radiology, physical therapy and urgent care within each clinic or nearby.


This position is located at Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Center – No Mira Mesa in community of Mira Mesa, San Diego County


8 hour shifts; Per Diem position work Variable Shift hours; AM's or PM's and weekends


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent
  • ARRT (CT)
  • Current CRT and Fluoro licensure
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association
  • IV certification
  • One or more years of CT experience
  • Working knowledge of all CT exams and experience with PACS system
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and be flexible with schedule
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience/knowledge on Canon CT scanner
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
