Responsibilities

Location:

This position is located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego County

Hours:

8-hour shift:, weekends and on-call as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • One of the following certifications is required: CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+), or CompTIA A+,or CompTIA IT Healthcare Technician.
  • Must be able to follow Sharp standards for device installations and cable management to provide safe working conditions.
  • California Driver’s License in good standing

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • AA Degree in Information Systems or related field
  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare system that includes IT activities such as the installation of new devices
  • Basic knowledge of Project Management methodology
  • Experience in providing staff oversight for device deployment projects
 • Spends extended periods of time per day sitting at a workstation, desk, or meeting table.
• Spends extended period of time standing or walking.
• Spends time, grasping, reaching, carrying, or pushing equipment such as PCs, monitors, and other IS equipment.
• Use of keyboard frequently for extended periods of time.
• Use telephone frequently; must be able to hear and speak clearly by telephone.
• Must be able to calmly and professionally respond to frequent deadlines.
• Must be able to respond calmly and professionally to telephone or face-to-face contact from angry or frustrated users/clients.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs.
• Must be ambulatory with no movement or physical limitations.
