This is an opportunity to work closely with a group of Cardiology providers, nurses and technicians in a fast-paced outpatient clinic. Multi-specialty Cardiology clinic, coordination of care with physicians, nurses and other technicians, independent monitoring of treadmill testing, echocardiography, and nuclear medicine. Clinical responsibilities as required which may include the knowledge of ECG normal and abnormal rhythms, cardiac diagnostic testing, and running nuclear treadmill tests.
The Sharp Rees-Stealy Cardiology department consists of 9 physicians, 1 physician assistant, RNs, LVNs, medical assistants, cardiovascular and ultrasound technicians, and patient care representatives. We are a busy, ambulatory care facility which offers outpatient medical management, non-invasive cardiac testing in the office, and invasive cardiac procedures for our patients at Sharp Memorial Hospital.
Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is one of the largest, most comprehensive medical groups in San Diego County, with 22 locations offering services such as primary and specialty care, laboratory, physical therapy, radiology, pharmacy and urgent care.
This position is located in Serra Mesa, San Diego County.
Per Diem - Day position
8:00am - 5:00pm
Weekend shifts as needed
- One year Electrocardiography – ECG/EKG experience
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of cardiac procedures
- Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures and monitoring
- Experience with Touchworks, IDX, MUSE, or comparable Electronic Medical Records (EMR) programs
- One year experience in a treadmill lab
