Responsibilities

Summary

The Emergency Support Representative will assist patients, guests and employees prior to arrival into a Sharp Rees-Stealy facility. Performs public health screening protocols established by healthcare authorities prior to patient, guests and staff enter facility. Ensures social distancing is being honored in area of responsibility. Facilitates communication to internal departments as needed while maintaining a warm and caring image for our organization. Duties include but not limited to explaining and helping to complete the COVID medical questionnaire. Coordinate supplies before entering the shift. Monitors entry flow and completes daily tasks to ensure quality service. Troubleshoots and resolves problems, with the ability to respond to urgent and emergent situations in a calm and capable manner.

Today, Sharp Rees-Stealy has 21 locations and 450 primary care doctors and specialists representing virtually every field of medicine.


Location

This position is located in Central Region San Diego County (Downtown)

 

Note: This is a Temporary position and the end date will be determined by the Hiring Manager based on the COVID situation.

 

Hours

Per Diem, Days (Variable Shifts)

 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals, including patients, physicians, leadership team and co-workers

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician
