The IAM Business Analyst will lead the Identity and Access Management (IAM) program across the organization. Act as liaison between business, clinical, IT stakeholders/application teams, and IAM. Translate business needs into requirements to be solved with process and/or technology, recommends and help design IAM solutions while understanding the critical balance between risk and operations. Provide project management leadership and discipline, and lead the day-to-day program activities.  

Sharp System Services have campuses located in the communities of Kearny Mesa and Serra Mesa and consist of the Spectrum location, the Ruffin Road location and Sharp Operations Center (SOC).  These offices provide the centralized integrated system support services to the operating entities within the system.  These services include: Strategic Planning, Business Development, Information Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management and Insurance, Contracts, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Development, Clinical Effectiveness, Finance, Nursing, Systems Supply Chain Services, Marketing and Communications, The Sharp Experience and Sharp University.


This position is located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego County




8 hours day shift, weekends as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in business analysis / requirements development and a minimum of five (5) years directly managing a team or managing a project team

  • Direct experience leading complex, organizational-wide IT programs that are multi-year, multi-work stream in nature, with a budget greater than 1 million dollars

  • Knowledge and experience with IAM technology concepts such as identify federation, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC) and access management processes


Preferred Qualifications and Skills   


  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems management or business management ; experience may be considered in lieu of education

  • Identity Management Institute (IMI) certification(s) such as the following: Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP), Certified Identity Governance Expert (CIGE), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)

  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Direct experience with an Identity Governance & Administration tool such as Sailpoint, Saviynt, Oracle Identity Management, etc.

  • Experience leading Identity & Access Management projects

  • Working knowledge of BMC Remedy Service Desk and Change Management Console or Ivanti Service Desk
