Summary

Under the direction of Manager, the Lead CT Tech is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the CT Department.  Supervises technical and support staff and provides input to staff evaluations, competencies and orientation for CT Technologists.  Will perform a wide variety of technical procedures with quality patient care, assisting Physicians as needed.  The lead shall provide technical support, expertise and professional judgement required to support the mission and goals of Sharp HealthCare.  Our mission is to offer quality care and services that set community standards, exceed patients’ expectations and are provided in a caring, convenient, cost effective and accessible manner

Bonuses

Sign-On Bonus: Qualified candidates may be eligible for sign-on bonus of $10,000

Employee Referral Bonus Available: $2,500 

Location

This position is located in the community of Serra Mesa, San Diego County

 
Hours
8 hour evening shifts, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am M-F; weekends as needed
Full-time (1.0 FTE) position, 80 hours per pay period
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
  • CRT and CA Fluoro license
  • ARRT in CT and Radiology
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
  • IV certification
  • Able to work independently with little supervision in a fast pace, high volume trauma environment
  • Skill to multi-task and work with changing workflow priorities
  • Skill to perform all general CT exams and Interventional CT procedures
  • Strong customer service, communication and problem solving skills

  • Proven leadership skills to lead and direct a dynamic team of professional staff and technologists
