Summary

The Lead-Patient Liaison provides frontline leadership to the Patient Liaison team in collaboration with the Director of Quality. The lead also serves as a link between patients, visitors, volunteers, employees, leaders and physicians with the objective of enhancing the understanding of Sharp Rees-Stealy's policies and services, increasing customer satisfaction, obtaining resolution of concerns, enhancing quality of care, and minimizing risk. The position will ensure the timely triage and escalation of incoming patient concerns, while empowering the patient liaisons to effectively and consistently interact with patients, visitors, local leadership and physicians.

Sharp Rees-Stealy's mission is to improve the health of its community through a caring partnership of patients, physicians and employees. Its goal is to offer quality services that set community standards and exceed expectations in a caring, convenient, affordable and accessible manner.

Sharp Rees-Stealy has been serving the health care needs of San Diegans since 1923 when doctors Clarence Rees and Clair Stealy formed San Diego's first multispecialty medical group practice. Today, Sharp Rees-Stealy has 22 locations (and still growing) and over 500 primary care doctors and specialists representing virtually every field of medicine.

Location

This position is located in Kearny Mesa, Copley – A Building.

 

 

Hours

Full time: 8am to 4:30pm.

 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Three years experience in healthcare setting.

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Some college.
