The Lead Psych Social Worker oversees the quality and appropriateness of the social services provided. Additionally, this position is responsible for assisting patients and families with behavioral health and environmental resources in order for maximizing the highest level of functioning during a patients current episode of care. This position is responsible for conducting behavioral health psychosocial assessments and clinical interventions, inclusive of individual, group, and family therapy. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team, coordinates patient care and provides case management for assigned patients. Additionally, provides leadership to and coordination of the operations of the psychiatric social work team.

8-hour shift; 8:00 am -5:00 pm
Required Skills and Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work
California BBS Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Five years of experience in a behavioral health setting
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Acute/ psychiatric hospital experience
Discharge planning/case management experience
ASW Supervision experience
