The Facility Technologies Support Team consists of dedicated information systems professionals with domain and system expertise in application interface protocols, project management, and process development. They provide customer on-call support 24/7, testing and implementation of new releases, troubleshooting hardware and software; provide education/training to users, maintenance of the applications.  This IT team consists of 13 staff analysts and 1 Manager supporting the following primary applications: Teletracking CMS XT/TempTracking/RTLS,  GetWellNetwork, NaviCare, and TruClinic.
The Lead Systems Analyst position provides leadership for the Application Support, Enhancement, Design, Build and Implementation oversight for assigned IT Applications. The position working in conjunction with and/or on behalf of the department manager oversees staff activities, provides input to annual performance appraisals, and provides input into hiring or disciplinary action. Exercises discretion with independent thought and judgment. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Sharp System Services have campuses located in the communities of Kearny Mesa and Serra Mesa and consist of the Spectrum location, the Ruffin Road location and Sharp Operations Center (SOC).  These offices provide the centralized integrated system support services to the operating entities within the system.  These services include: Strategic Planning, Business Development, Information Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management and Insurance, Contracts, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Development, Clinical Effectiveness, Finance, Nursing, Systems Supply Chain Services, Marketing and Communications, The Sharp Experience and Sharp University.

This position is located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego County


8 hour day shift, on call, evenings and weekends as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information systems or Healthcare related field. Relevant experience in excess of seven (7) years and/or appropriate certifications may be substituted 
  • Seven (7) years of experience with supervising/supporting complex enterprise business/clinical systems and 5-7 years in an application analyst role
  • Knowledge of hospital and clinic culture, regulatory requirements (e.g., JCAHO), and health care requirements as it relates to information security and privacy (e.g., HIPAA)

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with process analysis and design methodologies in legal, regulatory, ethical, managerial and organizational, principles and standards for outpatient and acute general hospitals and health systems strongly preferred
  • Experience with designing, testing, implementation and support of healthcare Facility Technologies, preferably with RTLS, Remote Temperature Monitoring, Building Management Systems, and/or Physical Security Systems
  • Knowledge of clinical and business operations in a healthcare environment
