Our LVN - Licensed Vocational Nursing team provides primary and specially nursing care to our patient population. LVN Nurses will escort patients to their exam rooms, prepares patients for their exam, and assist with procedures. LVN Nurses will also document care in our electronic medical records and maintain supplies and equipment.
As a part of the Nursing Float Pool the LVN will work in various clinical settings including primary and specialty care departments at three clinic sites.

This position will float to the Sharp Rees-Stealy medical clinics in North San Diego County: Sorrento Mesa, Mira Mesa and Scripps Ranch
Per Diem - Day position
8 hour shift between the hours of 7:00am - 8:00pm
Weekends as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program or Navy Corps School
- Current unencumbered California Licensed Vocational Nurse – LVN licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Ambulatory care/Physician office experience
- Primary Care (Family Practice, Internal Medicine) experience
- One to three years LVN experience in related clinical setting
- Experience with Touchworks or comparable electronic medical records system
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent customer service skills, be flexible and very organized
