Our Employee Occupational Health (EOHD) LVN Nursing team will assist with pre-employment physicals, TB skin testing, immunizations, urine drug screens, vital signs, vision and hearing screening exams. LVN Nurses will escort patients to their exam rooms, prepares patients for their exam, and assist with procedures. LVN Nurses will also document care in our electronic medical records and maintain supplies and equipment.
The Employee Occupational Health Department provides services for employees and volunteers of Sharp HealthCare.
Sharp System Services have campuses located in the communities of Kearny Mesa and Serra Mesa and consist of the Spectrum location, the Ruffin Road location and Sharp Operations Center (SOC). These offices provide the centralized integrated system support services to the operating entities within the system. These services include: Strategic Planning, Business Development, Information Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management and Insurance, Contracts, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Development, Clinical Effectiveness, Finance, Nursing, Systems Supply Chain Services, Marketing and Communications, The Sharp Experience and Sharp University.
This position will float to Sharp HealthCare facilities in La Mesa, Chula Vista, Serra Mesa, and Kearny Mesa, San Diego County
- Graduate from an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Navy Corpsman program
- Current unencumbered California Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Two years LVN experience with one year in an outpatient setting
- Current Blood withdrawal certification
- Prior occupational/employee health experience
