Responsibilities
Summary
The Licensed Vocational Nurse – LVN performs individualized nursing care for patients/families under the direction of an RN. The LVN uses and practices basic assessment data collection, participates in planning, executes interventions in accordance with the plan of care and contributes to evaluation of outcomes. The LVN communicates to ensure patient/family educated on plan of care and planned treatments.

Location
This position is located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego County. The LVN will be visiting patients throughout San Diego County.
Hours
8 hour shift, Full-time, 8:00am - 4:30pm, working weekends as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Completion of a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program/school or Navy Corps School
- Current unencumbered CA Licensed Vocational licensure
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- One year of recent LVN experience
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Recent Home Health experience
- Wound Care experience
- Understanding of disease process
- Medical teaching experience
- Blood Withdrawal certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
