The LVN Trainer Coordinator role provides development, coordination, and administration of education/training to the Sharp Community Medical Group (SCMG) Health Services Division, which includes Utilization Management, Ambulatory and Hospital Case Management employees. This role is also responsible for assisting with fulfillment of regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with accreditation and legislative standards.

This position is located in Serra Mesa, San Diego County. May require travel to other Sharp HealthCare locations

Full Time – Day position
8:00am – 4:30pm
Monday through Friday
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current and unencumbered California Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) license
  • Experience with Microsoft Office – Word Excel, PowerPoint Outlook
  • Experience with IDX

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Three years clinical experience in a patient care setting (acute or ambulatory care)
  • Two years utilization management experience, case management or quality management – medical group or HMO setting
  • One year training experience
  • Experience in Adobe Captivate or other e-learning software
