Responsibilities

Summary
Rooming of patients, computerized charting, assisting with procedures, paperwork. Sharp Rees-Stealy has been serving the health care needs of San Diegans since 1923 when doctors Clarence Rees and Clair Stealy formed San Diego's first multispecialty medical group practice. Today, Sharp Rees-Stealy has 22 locations and 450 primary care doctors and specialists representing virtually every field of medicine.

Location
This position is located in Serra Mesa, San Diego County
Will be floating to different departments throughout the Sharp Rees-Stealy San Diego Main clinic
 
Hours
Per Diem Day Shift; Weekends as Needed
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program or Navy Hospital Corps School
  • One to three years current ambulatory care experience
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical skill and nursing judgment
  • Excellent organizational skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task
 
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Ambulatory care/Physician office experience
  • Medical Assistant certification
