The Occupational Therapist II will evaluate, plan, direct and administer occupational therapy modalities and treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Assist patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Excellent opportunity to work with innovative and holistic techniques in Occupational Therapy. Documents and enters all elements of patient management in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner. Participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department, and participates in CQI activities.
Newly hired employees will receive a comprehensive orientation, including classroom work and field work with an assigned preceptor. Home Health software training is provided. The orientation period is approximately four weeks, and is based on prior experience.

This position is based in Kearny
Mesa, San Diego County; position is part of the Yellow Team which covers Central
San Diego. Staff are expected to travel throughout the San Diego County, where
business need is located.
8 hour shifts; full-time position to
work 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; no weekends
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy
or graduate of accredited college or university with a certificate in
- Current CA State Occupational Therapy Licensure
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- Two or more years of recent experience in all aspects
of Occupational Therapy
- Excellent communication project development and
critical thinking skills
- Ability to practice autonomously and work with an
interdisciplinary team of professionals
- Ability to utilize laptop for electronic record keeping
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Home Health experience
