Responsibilities

Summary
The Occupational Medicine Patient Service Representative performs scheduling, reception, and other assigned department operational tasks.
The Occupational Medicine department treats employees with work injuries. We also provide employment related services such as urine drug screens, physicals, vaccinations and breath alcohol testing.
Sharp Rees-Stealy founded in 1923 is one of the largest multi-specialty medical groups in San Diego County. The Department of Occupational Medicine consists of 15 providers on our staff to help meet the needs of our patients and is located at 6 of our Sharp Rees-Stealy medical clinics in San Diego (Chula Vista, Downtown, Genesee, La Mesa, Sorrento Mesa, and Rancho Bernardo).

Sharp Rees-Stealy has been serving the health care needs of San Diegans since 1923 when doctors Clarence Rees and Clair Stealy formed San Diego's first multispecialty medical group practice. Today, Sharp Rees-Stealy has 22 locations (and still growing) and over 500 primary care doctors and specialists representing virtually every field of medicine.

Location
This position will float throughout all Sharp Rees-Stealy Clinics.
 
Hours
Per diem: 8am to 5pm; possibly 7am to 6pm depending n business needs. 
 
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Office experience, customer service, computer skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
 
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior Occupational Medicine and Workman’s comp experience.
  • IDX and Advanced Web/Touchworks experience.
  • Medical Terminology.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
