The Patient Service Representative is responsible for patient registration, demographic and insurance updates. Confirms insurance eligibility and obtains authorizations for service. Works with patients to resolve billing and insurance related issues.

The weight-loss support programs are structured, personalized and easy to follow. The team emphasizes practical, progressive skills to promote healthier eating, increased physical activity and better control over the environment. Center for Health Management and weight loss support services are offered at the following Sharp locations: Sharp Rees-Stealy Murphy Canyon, Sharp Rees-Stealy Santee, and Sharp Rees-Stealy Rancho Bernardo

This position will travel throughout the Sharp Rees-Stealy sites.
- Medical office experience required with a strong emphasis in customer service, computer skills and phones or completion of a medical receptionist or equivalent training program.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Terminology required.
- IDX/Touchworks experience desired.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Completion of a medical receptionist or equivalent training program preferred.
- QuickBooks experience.
