12 hour shift, 7:00pm - 7:30am, per diem
Minimal commitment of hours - work only 4 shifts per month, one of which is a weekend shift, of your choosing. Float within your level of care to more than one Sharp facility in the pay period and get paid 10 percent more hourly for all shifts in that pay period. Pre-book your shifts to a facility or unit of your choice, or choose to float to the area of greatest need. Earn extra money by bidding on and working shifts of your choosing via the Bid Shift program.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Associates of Science Degree in Nursing
- Current unencumbered California Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- Three years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/IMCU/DOU/Intermediate Care RN Experience
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing
This is a per diem position with excellent opportunities available to float within all Sharp HealthCare entities. Flexible hours and scheduling is perfect for working parents and those pursuing ongoing education. SRN float pool offers the ability to float around the Sharp system and experience the different units and cultures and then pick your favorites and pre-book there. The ultimate in flexibility and variety!
The SRN department offers opportunities to experience a wide range of patient care at various sites within Sharp HealthCare. This position requires an enthusiastic, positive individual willing to be a part of a dynamic float pool servicing all of Sharp HealthCare.
Sharp System Services have campuses located in the communities of Kearny Mesa and Serra Mesa and consist of the Spectrum location, the Ruffin Road location and Sharp Operations Center (SOC). These offices provide the centralized integrated system support services to the operating entities within the system. These services include: Strategic Planning, Business Development, Information Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk Management and Insurance, Contracts, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Development, Clinical Effectiveness, Finance, Nursing, Systems Supply Chain Services, Marketing and Communications, The Sharp Experience and Sharp University.
