$71.822 - $92.673 - $113.525The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
The Oncology Clinical Specialist will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to oncology patients and develop clinical pharmacy practice services within the inpatient oncology floor and outpatient infusion center. This pharmacist will design, support and implement policies to provide safe, effective, and efficient use of resources and ensure that budget, quality and value targets are met in collaboration with the Clinical Supervisor and Procurement Operations Supervisor. Collaborative relationships will be developed and fostered with nursing personnel, physicians and systemwide and entity-specific oncology groups. Responsibilities also include relevant committee representation, staff education, and precepting pharmacy residents/students.
Required Qualifications
- Other : Education pursuant to licensure requirement.
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
- California Pharmacist License - CA State Board of Pharmacy -REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
- Completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency with experience in Oncology or a specialized clinical residency in Oncology & Hematology care.
- BPS Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) - Board of Pharmacy Specialties -PREFERRED
