As the Pharmacy Analytics Analyst, you will provide complex data analysis, risk assessments, systems analysis, programming/technical execution, reporting, and tool development for Pharmacy related clinical, financial and compliance analytics needs across Sharp HealthCare.
Currently Sharp HealthCare Central pharmacy division consists of a pharmacy department (Swisslog, Home Infusion, Hospice, Specialty Pharmacy, and Centralized Repackaging) and Nursing department with approximately 50 employees in both divisions. We are a provider of medications, supplies, medical equipment and nursing visits to patients in their home.
The Sharp Centralized Pharmacy Service, which consists of the Sharp Centralized Hospital Pharmacy, is a licensed entity providing sterile compounds and solutions used in hospitals in the Sharp HealthCare system. They employ a team of pharmacists, technicians and ancillary personnel who, through lean processes and expertise in sterile compounding, provide quality pharmaceutical products to Sharp HealthCare entities.
This position is located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego County
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the healthcare industry with one (1) year experience in retail or hospital pharmacy environment and/or working with clinical analytics applications and reporting that included systems analysis is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such as Computer Science, Business Administration, Nursing, Finance or Health Care Administration required, relevant experience in excess of three years may be substituted.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Current unencumbered CA Pharm Technician license preferred
