As the Pharmacy Buyer, you will purchase all pharmaceuticals for the Department(s), receives and verifies shipments from vendors and suppliers, restocks inventory, and prepares vendor returns for shipment, prepares requested shipments of medications and supplies for designated areas, provides support to maintain controlled substance records and inventory. You will provide technical and clerical support for the Department when needed. The Buyer will also reconciles invoices, credit memos and statements and follow up on drug recalls and maintain records.

This position is located in the Community of Serra Mesa, San Diego County
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current unencumbered CA Pharmacy Technician license preferred
Minimum two years previous experience as a hospital pharmacy technician preferred.
Minimum of one-year experience in purchasing of pharmaceuticals and supplies preferred.
Computer skills are highly desirable, especially in the application of word processing, and spreadsheet and database creation and management.
Essential physical requirements may be discussed during interview.
