Responsibilities
As the Pharmacy Technician Injectable Specialist, you will assist the medical group and pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical services that supports the mission, values and philosophy of Pharmacy Services and Sharp Healthcare. The Pharmacy Tech Injectable Specialist participates in all department managed care and clinical programs that focus on pharmaceutical care and related issues within the managed care population. The will help with the processing of refill management for physician offices, outside pharmacies and patients contacting Sharp Rees-Stealy offices via the Call Center, and/or processing of prior authorizations.

Location
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current unencumbered CA Pharmacy Technician license
- Minimum two (2) years’ current Pharm Tech experience in a hospital/retail pharmacy environment experience preferred
- Office management experience
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Excellent phone communication skills
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
