The Physical Therapist I evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Assists patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department, and participates in CQI activities when requested.

This position will be located at
Sharp Memorial Hospital’s Acute Physical Therapy Department in the community of
Serra Mesa, San Diego County
8 hour shifts;
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current CA State Physical Therapy license
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving
- Skills to work collaboratively within a team
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy or
graduate of accredited college or university with a certificate in
- One or more years of Acute PT experience
