The Physical Therapist II will evaluate and treat patients within their scope of practice in a manner that is cost-effective and appropriate to the patient's diagnosis, age and culture. Will complete all documentation to meet regulatory and financial requirements. A good candidate will demonstrate sound clinical skill and the willingness to learn via external and internal continuing education opportunities. Excellent communication skills are necessary when working with a variety of referring providers, a diverse patient population, and a large clinical staff. The physical therapist will provide cooperative and courteous service to internal and external customers as part of Sharp HealthCare's commitment to customer satisfaction.

This position is located at Sharp Memorial Hospital in the Acute Rehab Dept in the community of Serra Mesa, San Diego County
8 hour shifts; Full-time position to work variable Day Shift hours; will participate in Inpatient Rehab weekend rotation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with a degree in Physical Therapy
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- Current California Physical Therapy Licensure
- Two or more years of recent experience as a Physical Therapist
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Desire to promote the profession of physical therapy and an eagerness to learn through continuing education
