The Physical Therapy Aide will assist multiple physical therapists in a busy PT gym setting. Assist with patient treatment under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist, utilizing modalities and exercise programs for patients with a variety of diagnoses. Willing to cross train to cover front desk operations, scheduling, co-pay collection, clerical tasks. Communicates provider delays. Monitors patient waiting area and manages telephone calls. Will follow the Sharp behavior standards.

8 hour shifts:Float pool position to work at multiple Sharp Rees-Stealy medical facilities
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association
- Ability to supervise Physical Therapy modalities and exercise programs safely and according to accepted standards
- Medical Terminology
- Excellent customer service skills
- Clear and concise communication skills and professional telephone skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- One year Physical Therapy Aide experience or related patient care experience
- Enrollment in or graduation from a pre-physical therapy program
- Completion of medical receptionist training program or equivalent medial office training/experience
- Computer experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
