The Physical Therapist Spec I, evaluates, plans, directs and administers physical therapy treatment under the prescription of a licensed physician. Assists patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Will assist the supervisor as a resource for the professional development of the physical therapy department. Will participate in continuing education to further professional development. Will be available for formal and informal consultation from senior staff therapists. Participates in operational aspects of the department/clinic as needed when requested. Will assist the supervisors in the administration of the physical therapy department/clinic if needed.

Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy or equivalent
CA State license in Physical Therapy
BLS for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association
Proactive problem-solving skills and time management skills
Effective customer service driven communications skills
Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy
Neurologic rehabilitation experience is a plus.
1 to 5 years of clinical experience in all aspects of Physical Therapy
