In collaboration with pharmacy leadership, the Project Manager – Pharmacy Operations determines how to efficiently and financially move forward organizational and department objectives by providing support with direction, training, feedback and monitoring of processes to pharmacists and ancillary staff.
With over 500 primary care and specialty care physicians providing care at 22 facilities throughout the region, Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is one of the largest, most comprehensive medical groups in San Diego County, and is recognized for excellence in patient satisfaction and clinical care. For patient convenience and improved coordination of care, Sharp Rees-Stealy offers services in laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, physical therapy optical and urgent care within each medical center or nearby.
This position is located in Copley Building in Kearny Mesa, San Diego County. This position requires traveling to all SRS Pharmacy sites.
8-hours days variable shift, hours anytime between 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, weekends as needed. Possible On-Call Requirement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in the pharmacy industry.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a leadership role.
- Must have significant knowledge of fiscal and budgetary issues.
- Computer skills, especially in the application of word processing, and spreadsheet and database creation and management is preferred.
