Responsibilities
In collaboration with pharmacy leadership, the Project Manager – Pharmacy Operations determines how to efficiently and financially move forward organizational and department objectives by providing support with direction, training, feedback and monitoring of processes to pharmacists and ancillary staff.
With 400 primary and specialty care physicians providing care at 22 facilities throughout the region, Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is one of the largest, most comprehensive medical groups in San Diego County, and is recognized for excellence in patient satisfaction and clinical care. For patient convenience and improved coordination of care, Sharp Rees-Stealy offers services like laboratory, radiology, physical therapy and urgent care within each clinic or nearby.
Sharp Rees-Stealy has also recently opened a remarkable state-of-the-art medical office building, located in Del Mar. All clinics will continue to provide their communities with leading edge care for decades to come. Our newest medical center is scheduled to open in Santee in summer 2020.
.This position is located in Kearny Mesa, San Diego County.
8-hour day variable shift, hours anytime between 7:00 am – 7:00 pm, weekends as needed. Possible On-Call Requirement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a retail pharmacy.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a leadership role.
- Must have significant knowledge of fiscal and budgetary issues.
- Computer skills, especially in the application of word processing, and spreadsheet and database creation and management is preferred.
- Operational experience
- Project Management degree/certification
- Project management experience
